03 November 2013: Salai Patrick Aung Naing Htwe, 34, died in a hospital after being hit by a vehicle on the Maple Shade-Cherry Hill border in New Jersey around 2am last Saturday.

The Asho Chin engineer, who works as Technical Manager at the Krannich Solar, was seriously injured and later pronounced dead at the Cooper University Hospital.

Nutei, a member of the Chin Community in UK (CCUK), said: "It is such a big loss for our CCUK. He had a big heart for Chin people and I was very proud of him. He was ready to do anything for his Chin fellows. But now we lost one of our shinning stars."

Salai Patrick had served as an organizer and fundraiser of the Chin National Day celebrations in the UK for many years before he moved to USA.
