In pictures: Chin villagers forced to leave village, temporary shelter

02 September 2016 -- Residents of Bualpi village in Falam township, Chin State were forced to leave their newly resettled place after the State government bulldozed their houses following accusations that they had occupied other area of land without official permission.

The villagers, including victims of landslides last year, fled to a nearby village, called Cicai of Sagaing Region to take temporary shelter at church buildings. However, the Kalay authorities did not allow them to stay after a night and forced to leave today.
