Chin female singer wins second prize in Burma Featured

06 July 2015 -- Jenevy Sui, a Chin female singing contestant, won the second prize of a nationwide singing competition 'Where Dreams Meet Forever' in Burma.

The 21-year-old singer received 48.25 per cent of the vote while her Burman male opponent, Aung Htet, got 51.75 winning the final award.

Sui was awarded 10,000,000 kyats and was signed for production of a new solo album.

Wearing Chin traditional dress, Sui said while receiving the award: "If there is another word better than 'thanks', I will use that word to express my thanks."

The competition finals took place at Strand Hotel in Rangoon on 4 July.#
